  • Dolphin is recognizing the ISO Image incorrectly as a Gamecube game. It then tries to emulate it as GC and it causes it to hang (the black screen). If your Wii ISO is on nkit format, convert it back to an uncompressed ISO. Update to one of the most recent development versions of Dolphin, as they support the nkit format.
  • Trying to get Radiant Dawn to work on a Dolphin Emulator. I only get a black screen when trying to start the rom, And I have have idea why. Could anyone please help with this? and tried both the stable and the master (latest build). The master version starts but I get a black screen and no sound when I choose the OpenGL graphics backend. If I select the software rendered instead the emulator works fine but very slowly.

I am running Ubuntu mate 16.10 on an ideapad 710s with an i5 and N intel hd520 graphics card (for the record everything I tried the past 3 weeks seems to work fine out of the box and the mate desktop feels very responsive).
